It’s a very dramatic picture.  Soviet soldiers are firing from the windows of a collapsed building in the factory “Red October” in Stalingrad. After a minute after this picture was taken, the photographer took another shot, which shows that a fighter who is running to the far window, injured or killed - it launched and it fell on the windowsill.
